What Are ETS2 Mods?

Mods — short for modifications — are files created by players and artists that change or add new content to Euro Truck Simulator 2. They are completely free to download and are made by the community, not by the official game developers SCS Software.

Are Mods Free?

Do Mods Work in Multiplayer?

ETS2 multiplayer is handled by TruckersMP. Cosmetic mods like skins and sounds generally work if both players have them installed. Vehicle and map mods usually require all players to have the same mod. Always check the mod description for multiplayer compatibility before using it online.
